What we are building

Open-access solar generation for Madhya Pradesh industry — the long-term infrastructure business. Development stage; no capacity commissioned yet.

What funds it today

Agri commodity trading — mandi sourcing, grading, weighment, storage and delivery to mills and processors.

How we price

Landed cost, quality deduction and margin stated in writing for every lot. No hidden brokerage.

Why trust a new company

We are a young company, so we compete on accountability rather than claims — written specifications, stated timelines and named owners.

Two divisions

One long-term infrastructure play, one revenue engine

Solar open access is where we are investing. Agri trading is what pays for it. We keep the two separate — separate teams, separate capital, separate accountability — so you only ever deal with the one that concerns you.

DIVISION 01

Solar Open Access

Open-access solar supply for HT and EHT industrial consumers in Madhya Pradesh, under the Electricity Act 2003 and the Green Energy Open Access Rules.

  • Target band ₹4.50–5.50 per unit
  • Typical saving ₹1.50–2.50 per unit vs DISCOM tariff
  • Best fit: sanctioned load above 500 kW
  • Zero capex for the consumer — PPA model

Agri Commodity Trading

Bulk procurement from the Nimar and Malwa belt, for ginners, spinning mills, poultry and cattle-feed plants, flour mills and pulse processors.

  • Cotton (seed cotton and lint), maize, wheat and moong
  • Written quality specs — staple, micronaire, moisture, damage
  • Grading, weighment and third-party warehouse custody
  • Cash or 7–15 day terms, agreed in writing

Division 01 · Solar

Zero capex for you. A tariff fixed for years, not revised every April.

Under the open access route you buy power from a dedicated solar plant instead of the DISCOM, at a rate agreed in a long-term PPA. We build, own and operate the plant; you sign the offtake.

Division 02 · Commodities

What we trade

The Nimar cotton belt and the Malwa grain belt — Pansemal, Sendhwa, Barwani, Julwania, Khargone and Indore mandis.

Why us

Four things we guarantee

01

Named accountability

Each division has one director who owns it, with a name and a direct number. You will never reach a call centre.

02

Written specifications

Quality parameters, deduction formula and payment terms are put in writing at confirmation, which leaves far less room for a later dispute.

03

Local ground presence

We are based in Nimar and trade in the Nimar mandis. Grading and loading happen in front of us, not through an agent.

04

An honest ‘no’

If someone else can serve your requirement better than we can, we will tell you. One bad trade costs a relationship.

One straight point. Sharma Agrovolt was incorporated in April 2026. We do not have a ten-year track record, and we are not going to invent one. On the solar side, not a single MW has been commissioned yet — that division is at development stage.

We compete on accountability, not on claims we cannot stand behind. If what you need is vintage, we are not the right partner. If what you need is someone who answers the phone, puts the specification in writing and tells you before a timeline slips — then we should talk.
